The Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Godwin diesel pump systems in both shop and field environments. This role includes troubleshooting diesel engines, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, performing preventative maintenance, responding to customer service needs, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The technician will work independently while providing professional service and supporting critical water infrastructure. Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain Godwin diesel pump systems and related equipment. Troubleshoot diesel engines, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify equipment issues and determine appropriate repairs. Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, rebuilds, and component replacements. Diagnose and repair diesel-powered pumping equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation. Respond to customer service needs and provide professional recommendations regarding equipment condition and repairs. Perform service work in both shop and field environments. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working condition. Work independently while effectively managing service priorities and customer needs. Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures. Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

3+ years of diesel engine repair and maintenance experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills with diesel, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Experience

with Caterpillar and John Deere diesel engines preferred.

Experience

with Godwin pump systems or similar industrial pumping equipment is a plus.

Experience

diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation. Strong communication and customer service skills. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Requirements

This position includes both shop-based and field service work. Local travel to customer sites is required, with occasional travel, overtime, and weekend work based on customer and business needs. This position requires operating a company vehicle. Candidates must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record that meets company standards. The estimated salary range for this position is $34 to $36 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
