UR - Day (United States of America) Range: UR URCB 213 Compensation Range: $69,326.00 - $93,600.00 The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities

The senior social worker in the Strong Ties Young Adult Program collaborates with the Strong Ties Social Work Clinical Coordinator and Strong Ties Program Director in the clinical operations of the Young Adult Clinic. The senior social worker is responsible for the clinical and administrative oversight of social workers and other multidisciplinary therapists in the Clinic. Additionally, the Senior Social Worker supervises the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Therapist. In addition to the supervisory role, the senior social worker also delivers culturally competent care to individuals ages 16 and older with mental illness. Services may include diagnostic assessment, individual and family therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and community outreach for their assigned caseload. These services are provided through participation on an interdisciplinary team designed to deliver comprehensive community based psychiatric care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS As a member of an interdisciplinary team, provides direct clinical services to assigned patients, which may involve individual, family, and/or group therapy, crisis intervention, and diagnostic evaluations. Engages in consultation, treatment planning, and periodic care review as well as collaborates with family, social supports, community agencies (past and present) to ensure appropriate and effective care. Coordinates referrals and facilitates linkage to other appropriate agencies/supports Provides administrative and clinical supervision to therapists consistent with the Clinic and Department standards. Documents interventions, both direct and indirect, in the patient’s medical record in compliance with the Division, Department, and Hospital policy. Supports the research efforts of the Strong Ties Young Adult Clinic through participation in meetings, creating workflows to support research in the clinical services of patients enrolled in the clinic and education of staff as identified by program leadership In partnership with the Social Work Clinical Coordinator, facilitates interdisciplinary treatment team meetings as well as other general staff/therapist meetings Assists in recruitment and evaluation of performance of the Young Adult therapists including interviewing, quarterly audits of the electronic medical record, and yearly performance evaluations Attends Division, Department, and Clinic level staff meetings. Ensures that Division, Department, and Clinic policies and procedures are implemented with regard to professional practice and patient care. Ensures timely completion of statistical reports/forms, time sheets, and other Hospital or Division mandatory in-service trainings and Health Assessments. Subscribes to maintaining a culturally competent environment Other duties as assigned MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work and 2 years of professional social work practice required Or equivalent combination of education and experience 3-5 years of post-graduate clinical experience working with individuals with chronic mental illness and/or community mental health preferred 1-2 years experience in clinical and/or administrative supervision preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Skills in agency based policy/procedure development preferred Skills in effective employee engagement and leadership preferred Knowledge of mental illness preferred Ability to engage in person centered treatment preferred Knowledge/skills in various therapeutic interventions including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing preferred Knowledge of risk evaluation and mitigation preferred LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS LMSW - Licensed Medical Social Worker - State Licensure as defined by the State Board for Social Work, State
