Job Description: Job Title: UI/UX Engineering, Hybrid Cloud Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President Location: Pune, India Role Description We are looking for an UI and UX Engineer to drive the delivery of AI and Platform solutions within Deutsche Bank’s Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure team. As part of our ongoing strategy towards hybrid cloud and AI adoption, our teams are building next-generation, highly scalable and streamlined solutions to support faster application migrations, enhanced developer experience and autonomous development for our organisation. Operating in a high visibility, fast moving environment, you will work closely with senior business and technology leaders to shape product direction in complex and often ambiguous problem spaces. As part of this role, you will play a key role in designing, developing, enhancing, and operating internal AI products, platforms and solutions to drive the adoption of these solutions through a best in class user experience. Gender neutral parental leaves 100% reimbursement under childcare assistance benefit (gender neutral) Sponsorship for Industry relevant certifications and education Employee Assistance Program for you and your family members Comprehensive Hospitalization Insurance for you and your dependents Accident and Term life Insurance Complementary Health screening for 35 yrs. and above Your key responsibilities Working with the product owner and product teams to understand what customer experience the solutions, products and platforms need to cater for Lead and define the UX and UI vision for products and solutions within the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure AI and developer experience team Create and grow a strong UX culture with current engineering-led product teams Run workshops, discovery sessions and design meetings to improve UX across product and platform portfolio Influence product requirements to incorporate UX early in project lifecycles Rapid and iterative prototyping of solutions in Figma to demonstrate project and product visions Create wireframes, prototypes, mockups, user flows, service blueprints, and interaction designs Translate complex infrastructure, cloud, and AI capabilities into simple, intuitive, and highly adoptable user experiences Your skills and experience 3+ years building enterprise-grade digital products Strong understanding of User-centered design Design thinking Interaction design Information architecture User research Journey mapping Service design Highly proficient in Figma and be able to prototype business requirements into workable demos Designed conversational interfaces, copilots, AI assistants, and agentic workflows Strong experience with Angular, React.js, Hooks, Context API, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript Must have a strong innovative and ‘product-mindset’, i.e. the ability to understand what a good product should feel like and to design one
Experience
integrating frontends with APIs or data‑driven interfaces Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design, and accessibility Understanding of UI performance, accessibility, and usability considerations
Experience
with Agile/DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Jira Basic understanding of AI concepts Strong knowledge of UX principles, methodologies Preferable but not mandatory
Experience
with Google Cloud technology, particularly component architecture required to deploy an application workflow in production
Experience
in integrating AI products with UI/UX solutions Design portfolio that can be shared with hiring team with a clear demonstration of simplistic, minimalistic UI and UX design Previous experience in financial services and/or global institutions Ways of working Comfortable operating in high-ambiguity, fast-moving environments, balancing experimentation with production quality and operational rigor Strong communication skills, able to clearly explain architectural decisions, trade-offs, and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong presentation and storytelling skills Proven ability to work closely with product managers and senior stakeholders to shape requirements and manage delivery expectations Clear bias for action, strong sense of ownership, curiosity to learn, and a pragmatic mindset focused on outcomes and impact Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
