Employee Recognition & Rewards: A culture that celebrates and rewards your hard work and dedication We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. Education

A Master's degree in a related social science field such as family/child counseling, development, psychology, or social services is required. Licensure: Must be a BBS-licensed LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD.

Experience

Four years of direct service experience with the mentally ill, children, adolescents, and/or adults is preferred. Supervision: Two years of post-licensure experience with the ability to provide clinical supervision to registered interns/associates and/or practicum students is preferred. Two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is also preferred. Certifications: A valid California Driver's License and BLS CPR/First Aid certification are required. How you will make a difference: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for both clinical supervision and program management.

Duties

include hiring and training staff to provide services to adolescents and transitional-age youth with varying degrees of social and emotional needs, functional impairments, resources, and supports. Providing on-going training, support, supervision, and evaluation of team members’ individual performance. Ensures adherence to BBS requirements when providing clinical supervision to appropriate intern/associate staff. Uses in vivo supervision as appropriate. Communicate programmatic and operational expectations to FSP staff. Develop and maintain on-going relationships with other county agencies, health care facilities, cultural centers, placement centers and other resources necessary to affect the continuum of care for clients in the community. Division/Program Overview: Program: Valley Star’s Full-Service Partnership is for adults ages 18 to 59 and provides mental health services and linkage support to community services. Population Served: Adults aged 18 to 59 Facility & Setting: Services are provided in the office, in-home or in community locations.
