Mechanical tradesperson required for workshop and onsite servicing of hydraulic & pneumatic equipment. About the role We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to modify, rework, assemble, and test hydraulic components to meet individual customer requirements. The role requires the ability to work independently, lead other team members when required, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and service. The successful candidate will help deliver reliable work and minimise customer downtime. Day-to-Day

Responsibilities

Workshop modification, reworking and testing of new hydraulic components to meet customer’s individual requirements Manufacture and testing of hydraulic power units Report on equipment following disassembly and inspection Ability to work independently and lead other staff members Onsite hydraulic support for local customers About you – Skills and experience: Trade qualifications (Mechanical) as a Fitter, Turner & Machinist or Plant Mechanic w/ hydraulic experience Valid Driver's license Fitting experience with fixed and mobile plant applications Understanding the importance of accuracy and quality Fault finding and experience with fixed plant and mining equipment desirable Low voltage electrical experience will be an advantage
