This position reports to: Early Career Program Specialist __ Your Role & Responsibilities In this apprenticeship, you will learn the basics of mechanics and electronics. You will install mechanical and electronic components and program and configure controls for automated systems. You will also program robots and use them in production processes. They maintain machines and systems, analyze and fix errors. In addition, you will work on practical projects to apply what you have learned and develop solutions. In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. What it takes to Run what runs the world This position is an apprenticeship (training) according to the Austrian vocational education system. Applicants must meet the legal requirements to start an apprenticeship (e.g., completion of compulsory schooling, residence in Austria or appropriate authorization). Technical understanding: Interest in physics and mathematics as well as logical and analytical thinking skills are important. Dexterity and eye-hand coordination: Skill is required when assembling, repairing or replacing components. High willingness to learn: The industry is constantly evolving, so being open to new technologies and processes is important. Ability to work in a team: Collaboration with colleagues and other departments is crucial.
