David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy who is seeking to onboard a Italian speaking Customer Service Representative to join their team in Porto.
Position: Customer Service Representative
Location: Porto, Portugal
Work model: on-site
Employment type: fixed term (6 months) with possibility of extension / permanent contract
Remuneration: Base salary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat channels
- Assist customers with booking, modifying, and cancelling business travel arrangements
- Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently, escalating complex cases when required
- Provide accurate information regarding travel services, destinations, booking policies, and platform functionality
- Maintain and update customer records within CRM systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Collect customer feedback and report insights to support service improvements
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting quality and productivity targets.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native / fluent in Italian (C2) both verbal and written. Fluent in English (minimum B2 level)
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably within the travel industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing business needs
- Good computer literacy and ability to work with CRM systems
- Experience in business travel, travel management, tourism, hospitality, or related sectors
- Experience handling bookings, reservations, or travel-related customer inquiries
- Familiarity with travel booking platforms or travel management systems.
