About the Role Position Title: Senior Analyst (SME) Reporting to: AVP / VP Location: Bengaluru / Pune Position details MUFG is embarking on a multi-year AML System transformation journey to replace legacy AML System platform with modern technology platforms. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with strong and balanced experience in a wide array of NICE Actimize product development and support in Bangalore, India. Successful candidates will be part of a growing and dynamic regional team in charge of developing and maintaining NICE Actimize product for multiple MUFG offices over the world. Roles and

Responsibilities

AML System Development & Support Maintain, support, and enhance AML systems based on NICE Actimize (SAM/TMS/CMT/ActOne) platforms. Perform impact analysis, solution design, configuration, and local code/rule development for AML enhancements and regulatory-driven changes. Manage scenario lifecycle including creation, threshold tuning, logic enhancements, deployment, and optimization. Support installation and upgrade of Actimize product patches, core packages, and hotfixes across environments. Migration support from On-prem servers to Cloud Infrastructure. Testing, Quality Assurance & Release Management Own and execute end-to-end testing activities, including: Unit Testing System Integration Testing (SIT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Regression Testing Design high-quality test cases aligned with AML regulatory and business requirements. Analyze regression impact of new rules/scenarios/modules on existing detection logic. Support business users during UAT and post-release validation. Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit, and control requirements. Business-as-Usual (BAU) & Production Support Provide BAU and production support for AML platforms, including alert issues, rule misfires, data discrepancies, and system defects. Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, and batch-related issues in Linux/Oracle environments. Support RAM/FRT activities, health checks system, and incident/problem management. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure stable AML operations across branches and business units. AML Domain & Actimize Functional Expertise Apply strong understanding of AML regulations, transaction monitoring concepts, and typologies. Hands-on expertise in: Scenario Governance (threshold changes, logic building) Alert generation, scoring, and hibernation Scenario optimization, tuning, and performance analysis Ad-hoc monitoring and manual alert creation Strong experience with Case Management Tool (CMT) including: Alert and case workflow management Assignment, escalation, hibernation, and closure Investigation, reporting, and data search Quality Assurance and investigative review support Leadership & Collaboration Lead and mentor a small team of Analysts, providing guidance on AML domain, Actimize technology, and delivery best practices. Review work outputs for quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards. Act as a subject matter expert for SAM-related initiatives. Hands On experience on PostgreSQL, AWS cloud infrastructure deployment and Maintenance. Collaborate effectively with IT teams, compliance, operations, QA, and business stakeholders. Advise and influence decisions within own area of expertise.

Job Requirements

6+ years of experience with NICE Actimize in AML Transaction Monitoring Strong understanding of AML regulations and suspicious activity monitoring

Experience

in scenario configuration, rule debugging, alert handling, and case workflows Hands-on experience with testing and release support Working knowledge of Linux, Oracle Database, and Shell scripting Hands-on experience on code optimization using PostgreSQL AWS infra experience will be good to have.

Experience

working in a banking or financial services environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Business Area High level business requirement for development (Please refer to latter part of this document for details.) TMS/SAM NICE Actimize: SAM / TMS / ActOne / AIS Scenario configuration, rule cloning, and rule debugging Hit detection, alert distribution, and issue analysis Actimize Delivery module knowledge Oracle Database (queries, data analysis) Linux & Shell scripting (basic to intermediate) Full SDLC experience in banking/financial systems environment for periodic and/or ad-hoc scenario changes and enhancement) Ad-hoc monitoring (Manual alert creation) CMT Case Workflow management (function to manage workflow process for alert / case detected in SAM, CDD and WLF.) Functions to do operations using alerts or cases [creation, assign, Hibernation, etc.] Reporting/Investigation (creation of internal and external reports, data search functions for investigation) Quality Assurance (function to make ad-hoc / regular review whether the investigative reporting operations properly managed and executed) Required Skills: Actimize (SAM/ActOne/AIS) Rule cloning Rule configurations Hit detection and alert distribution Alert detection debugging Knowledge of Actimize Delivery module Shell Scripting Oracle Database
