Improve the quality, transparency, and timeliness of reporting by connecting data from different sources and producing actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Stakeholder alignment. Coordinate across Tech NL, Finance, Procurement, Risk, and vendors to unblock delivery, align expectations, and ensure adherence to agreed ways of working. Process & controls. Help maintain audit-ready processes and support continuous improvements in approval flows, documentation quality, and control evidence. Metrics & OKRs. Define and refine relevant metrics, translate objectives into measurable outcomes, and track progress with clear RAG status and narratives where needed. Consultative support. Act as a trusted advisor to the CIO Office lead and domain leadership, able to structure ambiguity, simplify complexity, and drive outcomes. Procurement support (eProfit/iBuy). Guide users on requisitions, invoices, contracts and POs, including roles/visibility and approval routing. Issue resolution & data quality. Investigate and escalate blockers (e.g., contract visibility/updates, missing fields) and correct data to keep workflows moving. Finance & reporting alignment. Coordinate with Finance/Procurement to maintain accurate reporting inputs (e.g., forecast IT cost, Baseline vs Change) and support workload estimations for the monthly cadence. Information about the team: The Tech NL CIO Office supports the CIO of ING NL, MT Tech NL and (Chapter) Leads with staying in control of their IT Services. The office supports operational HR, finance, sourcing, communications, privacy & risk and contracting functions. We enable transparent decision-making by connecting strategy to execution through consistent reporting (financials & workforce), clear ways of working, and strong alignment with Finance, Procurement, Risk, and other enabling functions. The CIO Office provides a consistent, transparent, and efficient approach to how Tech NL delivers value to the business. This supports improved strategic execution, operational performance, and compliance with internal control requirements. As a Document Management Specialist, you will report directly to the Tech NL CIO Office lead and support the Tech NL CIO agenda by strengthening governance, portfolio and financial steering, management information, and cross-functional execution with stakeholders across Tech NL, Finance, Procurement, and suppliers.
