Job Summary
Research Specialist 1 for Chicago, IL location. Perform single cell and micro-array services for experiments. Along with other members of the facility, will operate the Facility’s sample QC equipment, which includes fragment analyzer, bio-analyzer, qubit, and Pippin. Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project. Prepares, analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens (DNA & RNA) for sequencing, pooling strategies or required core manipulations. Conducts literature reviews. Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents. Installs, sets up and performs experiments; interacting with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator. Additional
