Job Description Position Summary The Developer for ServiceNow will be responsible for configuring, administering and scripting the ServiceNow ITSM tool. This role will work with the ITS Management leadership to develop technical solutions that satisfy the business needs of the IT and other departments seeking to use ServiceNow.
Education
Associate degree in Business or IT required, or 2 years of ServiceNow Development
Experience
BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electronics Technology, IT Management or a directly related field from an accredited college or university. - Preferred Licenses and Certification ServiceNow Admin and Developer certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities
Configuration/Customization of the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows Build service requests from customer requirements including requests, request items and tasks using workflows to manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing the service Uses scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality create script to automate rote tasks being done in ServiceNow Performs integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration Gathers specifications from the IT department and delivers a product/release that meets the needs presented. Create requirements definitions and technical specifications documentation. Load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems Work with IT managers to generate views and reports as needed Must analyze and fully understand user requirements and current procedures in order to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows and address scheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of the ServiceNow roadmap May serve as project manager. Responsible for the coordination and completion of assigned projects, including project definition, assignment of tasks, setting and maintaining deadlines, and other aspects of project management Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes Performs system and integration testing with sample and live data Maintains knowledge of the latest developments in information technology, especially as pertains to healthcare and the systems in scope of role. Provides availability for "on-call" emergency solution support and other after-hours support duties as assigned by ITS Management. Sets and maintains goals, timelines, and commitments, demonstrating proven attention to detail and high level of organization and accuracy. Trains and mentors team members. Develops training materials for current and updated workflows. Communicates updates and training to all necessary stakeholders. Strives to adhere to SIH Commitment to Care and ITS Core Competencies.
