This position reports to: Supplier Quality and Development Engineer (SQE/SDE) __ Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Juarez, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for: Driving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites. Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services. Working together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary. Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.
Qualifications
for the role (Mandatory) Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, electrical automation or related engineering. 5+ Year experience in experience working in supplier audits and incoming inspection process. Strong knowledge of APQP process qualification (Copper, aluminum & coatings), AIAG guidelines & Core Tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, SPC, PPAP, etc.) Certified auditor ISO 9001:2015 or ISO/TS 16949. Knowledge in GD&T.
Experience
in project management in the quality area.
Experience
& knowledge in SAP, Minitab and Power BI desired. Problem Solving tools / Root cause analysis (8Ds, RCA, 6S, A3).
Experience
