Work Flexibility: Onsite What you will do: • Conduct or design prototyping and bench testing; problem solving, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against component and sub-system requirements and conduct research and studies to support product design • Translate design inputs to engineering specifications and produce component and sub-system level designs; and code development time/resource estimation to support projects • Design new components applying various design concepts and generate and review the necessary documents with project teams (requirements, design, architecture, bugs, test) • Demonstrate advanced understanding of customer needs and design inputs; proficiency with product’s intended use and clinical procedures and learn how the financial models are constructed • Follow fundamental industry standards, design requirements and test strategies which apply to regulatory requirements and independently create or refine engineering documentation, such as the Design History file • Follow R&D procedure like design controls and risk management, per the Quality Management System • Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success as a key member of the team, collaborating with others and solidifying relationships • Quickly process and assimilate procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology required and work on complex problems, applying advanced experience and learnings • Demonstrate ownership and prioritize work with minimal supervision and build relationships and influence among peers • Lead code reviews for components in systems applying design principals, coding standards and best practices na develop and design software components per requirements and architecture defined What you will need- Required Skills: • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or related discipline & 2+ years of work experience Experience- 5 years - 7 years • Exposure to programming skills. Experience
with integrated development environments (IDE) for projects and with software tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, code coverage and techniques for analyzing software. • Integration and deployment processes experience •
Experience
in creating estimates for code implementation time/resource for assigned tasks and in Software Development Life Cycle processes and using Application Lifecycle Management /Traceability tools •

These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
