Role & Responsibilities: Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position): As a Senior Strategic Planner you will be responsible to execute strategic planning activities for all Direct Source materials including long-term strategic planning (multi-horizon plan) to (pre-/in-) seasonal planning process, forecast publication and material preposition strategies and execution. You will contribute with the development of the raw material sourcing strategy, supplier capacity plan and drive the seasonal supply planning process in order to maximize product availability You are responsible to assess capacity needs and mitigate any potential risk to minimize delay associated to nominated suppliers, due to demand shifts, capacity problems, and forecast variances etc. You will be also responsible for monthly consumption tracking of the commitment, leftover collection, validation as well as reporting at each season end or upon request. And colloabrate with brand stakeholders and internal other functions to explore the opportunity to utilize the leftovers and minimize business impact. Collaborate with cross-fucntional team to establish full-scope and regular down tracking and reporting model,from forecast publication, stock checking to demand analysis. Support down decision making (procurement, price review,etc) with fact-base data. You will be responsible to improve process efficiency and identify opportunities in terms of our way of working, system upgrade, advanced tools, etc to ensure process and platforms are integrated and aligned across all regions. To succeed, you will utilize both relationship building and strong analytical skill sets to drive business conversation. Amplify and deepen data analysis to support business decision and improve data quality and integrity. Key Result Areas: Initiate and execute strategic planning activities for apparel & equipment materials through the go to market calendar to ensure all milestones are timely met Analyze demand forecasts (Global/rgional) and allocate raw material sourcing strategy through the Multi-horizon plans which are drawn up to achieve long-term Brand revenue targets and growth expectations, identify the risk and collaborate with other key stakeholers to come up with solutions. Partner with cross functional teams to design and execute material preposition initiatives to enable On-Time Performance Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders covering Brand/Regional Operations, Asia Product Supply, Global Planning and key suppliers to ensure raw materials are delivered at the right place, on time, at the right cost Act as process owner for all GMS policies and procedures impacting Global Product Supply, drive policy changes with key stakeholders, including Product Supply, Global Planning and RO’s to ensure proper implementation Be a driver for initiatives that enable higher agility within the sourcing organization and continuously advance the global supply planning processes, analytical framework and allocation approach to support agility and market needs Ensure that the strategy framework reflects actions, timelines and responsibilities from a supply base perspective to enable proper implementation Collaborate with Global Planning and Product Supply department to accomplish KPI’s On-Time Performance, Buy Acceptance Rates, and support Quality, CSR, and other relevant Brand needs; able to identify the gaps and develop solutions Prepare analytical reports / presentations and business insights to help illustrate future demand trends, opportunity or risk to senior management and business teams, drive conversation for multi-party alignments Analyse organizational performance (e.g. Supplier Key Performance Indicators, business operations & efficiency), forecast operational risks, and work within the Global Material Supply organization and other global functions on issue resolution Collaborate with cross functional team to manage leftover end to end process, and minimize cost impact with exploration of using opportunities Act as a change agent/ambassador throughout the Global Product Supply organization by building trust with various levels in the organization, communicate clearly and consistently business objectives and management vision R-20260818-0073 VF Corporation habille les consommateurs partout dans le monde grâce à son portefeuille diversifié de marques emblématiques de style de vie, notamment Vans®, The North Face® et Timberland®.
