CHANEL Visual Merchandising Executive – 1 Year Contract Your Impact As part of the Fragrances & Beauty Middle East & India Marketing Team, you will play an essential role in implementing the wholesale Visual Merchandising strategy across the Middle East, with a particular focus on the UAE. Reporting to the Regional Merchandising Manager, you will work closely with CHANEL Head Office in Paris, local market teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to maximise brand exposure for each campaign and ensure the CHANEL image is consistently expressed across all points of distribution. Your Main Responsibilities Campaign Planning & Visual Merchandising Execution Develop regional VM guidelines for each campaign and select or create locally relevant assets, with a strong focus on the UAE. Create three-axis planograms, particularly in response to Makeup merchandising challenges. Manage high-resolution visual and movie orders, ensuring local teams receive approved visuals, colour proofs, and market-adapted movie loops. Provide campaign forecast recommendations and communicate any updates or changes to local teams. Create detailed VM reports following each campaign, capturing execution, feedback, and key learnings. Production, Supplier & Budget Management Coordinate suppliers on VM campaign production in line with the VM calendar and across a multi-channel distribution landscape. Ensure all VM materials are delivered to the highest CHANEL quality and brand-image standards. Follow installation timelines closely with suppliers and ensure VM guidelines are consistently implemented by all stakeholders. Manage invoicing and budgets by product line and market, and prepare budget meetings accordingly. Market Coordination & Retail Excellence Work closely with local teams on all VM needs, including visuals, decorative elements, shipments, and campaign implementation. Conduct regular store visits across the UAE and other markets to assess execution and ensure the CHANEL image is respected throughout the distribution landscape. Identify execution gaps and follow up on corrective actions after store visits. Support boutiques with their VM needs and assist the Regional Merchandising Manager on permanent merchandising projects. Animate the regional VM community through newsletters, training sessions, and key communications. What You Can Bring A detail-oriented, creative, proactive, and dynamic approach to Visual Merchandising. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, suppliers, and budgets simultaneously. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with local teams and internal stakeholders. A strong sensitivity to luxury retail, brand image, and in-store execution. Adaptability and confidence in a fast-moving, multi-market environment. Requirements A first successful experience in Visual Merchandising or Operational Marketing, ideally within the Middle East. Fluent English is essential; French is an advantage. Based in Dubai and available for a full-time, one-year short-term contract.
