Responsibilities
Position: Project Coordinator for BASIN Location: Kratie province Salary: Negotiable Closing Date: 24 August 2026 PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Project Coordinator will lead and coordinate the field implementation of the BASIN program in Kratie province, focusing on improving agricultural value chains, strengthening agricultural cooperatives (ACs), promoting climate-smart farming, and enhancing inclusive market systems. The role ensures timely delivery of activities, high-quality community engagement, strong stakeholder coordination, and compliance with World Vision standards and donor requirements. In addition, s/he will work in close coordination with National Office, GEDSI specialist, Sustainability and Climate Action specialist, M&E specialist. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES I. Project Implementation Plan, coordinate, and implement BASIN program activities in targeted districts and communes of Kratie province. Support farmer groups and Agricultural Cooperatives (ACs) on cashew, vegetable, and other value chain interventions. Facilitate training, coaching, and demonstrations on climate-smart agriculture, good agricultural practices (GAP), financial literacy, GEDSI tools, and market linkages. Ensure activities follow technical guidance and project design documents. Monitor progress against annual workplans and adapt implementation as needed. II. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership Coordinate regularly with Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (PDAFF), local authorities, private sector actors, and civil society partners. Facilitate public–private dialogue on value chain development, inclusive markets, and farmer commercialization. Build relationships with input suppliers, buyers, processors, and other market actors to support ACs and farmers. III. Capacity Building & Community Facilitation Collaborate with program staff in conducting capacity partner (FP) assessment for AP before it is selected. Conduct training to community partner (FP) on WVI Finance and Procurement Policy ensure the policy is applied properly. Visit, finance review, spot check to document and provide recommendation/corrective actions/feedback. Ensure the partnership finance policies and procedures are implement. IV. Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting Collect field data using WVI’s monitoring systems, digital forms, and reporting tools. Document success stories, lessons learned, and case studies. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports for the Project Manager. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, protection, and accountability standards. V. Administration, Financial Oversight & Compliance Support procurement, budget tracking, and financial documentation at the field level. Ensure all expenditures comply with WVI and donor guidelines. Manage project assets and resources responsibly REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Rural Development, Economics, Community Development, or related fields. Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination or implementation in rural development, agriculture, livelihoods, or market systems.
Experience
with international NGOs or development projects preferred.
Experience
working with ACs, farmer groups, cooperatives, or MSMEs. Strong understanding of agricultural value chains (cashew, vegetable, or other rural livelihoods). Good facilitation, coaching, and training skills. Ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder partnerships. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to use digital tools (Excel, Kobo, ODK, smartphones).
