[What the role is] As a Student Guidance Officer (SGO) in the Student Services Department at ITE College West (CW), you will maintain student discipline as well as provide support for administrative work. [What you will be working on] As part of the team, you will be involved in the following areas of work: ยท Campus Safety and Environment โ Support to keep a safe, orderly, and conducive campus environment including conducting patrols; ยท Preventive Education and Programmes โ Conduct disciplinary talks and programmes to promote responsible behaviour and informed decision-making ยท Student Case Management โ Manage disciplinary and appeal cases, including investigations, documentation, and follow-up actions in accordance with organisational policies; ยท Student Support โ Provide support to students with behavioural issues through mentoring and targeted interventions. ยท Stakeholder Engagement โ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on crime prevention efforts; ยท Programme Support โ Support student development initiatives (e.g. learning journeys, enrichment activities, and overseas programmes) as required; and ยท Other Duties โ Perform other duties as assigned.
