Schedule and plan maintenance activities by coordinating with internal and external parties and accurately recording all maintenance procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Development of appropriate routine maintenance schedules. Main custodian of all engineering, equipment, and maintenance documentation and the engineering library to ensure accurate and efficient information retrieval. Communicate and train maintenance and production personnel in the maintenance procedures. Integration of maintenance activities with production plans, CIPs, and planned down time. Proactive planning of manpower and materials for scheduled work and ensuring that those resources are marshalled in readiness. Accurate estimation of maintenance work in relation to duration, priority, skills requirements, spares, special tools and equipment, specialist services, and identification of appropriate material requirements. Estimating and arranging of contract labor to supplement existing resources to meet maintenance loads. Monitoring of maintenance operating system KPI’s and trends. Define maintenance performance measures and report results. Identification of critical equipment and spares. Implementation and monitoring of an effective AIB maintenance program. Implementation and monitoring of an effective safety and environmental maintenance program. Regularly scheduled task reviews and updates. Auditing of maintenance task completion. Analyze major equipment losses and breakdowns. Maintain plant maintenance inventory records and machine histories. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED and five (5) years maintenance experience with two (2) years in maintenance planning. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification. Able to work the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks. Subject Matter Expert in CMMS Software. Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics. Effective interpersonal and written communication skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Technical abilities to resolve complex engineering plant breakdowns. Ability to read maintenance manuals and engineering drawings. Strong MS Office Skills, especially MS Excel. ESSENTIAL MENTAL AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS Mental Functions Non-repetitive and somewhat diversified job requiring continuous mental alertness or very close visual attention. Physical Functions Frequently (34%-66%) required to walk, sit, and stand. Occasionally (0%-33%) required to climb and lift up to 50 pounds.
