About the role Position Description: Sr. Solutions Sales Manager (Outside Sales) is a multi-pronged role in developing lead generation, appointment setting, and driving new business, namely with new clients. The SSM will research, identify and develop business opportunities, primarily in the refining sector. This individual will sell a broad range of environmental services, including, but not limited to; liquids waste management, industrial field services, on-site services, transportation services, waste disposal, zero waste-to-landfill services, etc. The candidate should have the skill and know-how to handle prospects in evaluating and driving the process to engage the opportunity and complete their sale. This performance-driven role includes an assigned territory, and a managed book of business, with potential for further growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion. Oversee sales pipeline health, ensure accurate forecasting, and drive accountability for achieving sales targets. Work closely with internal teams (operations, finance, customer service, profiling) to align sales efforts with business objectives. Strengthen relationships with key customers and prospects, driving long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction. Identify prospects and target accounts through networking, internet, internal/ external leads and phone research. Monitor industry trends, assess competitive landscape, and leverage insights to refine sales strategies and to aid prospecting. Provide regular updates to the Sales Director on market development, sales reporting, and key opportunities or risks. Locate contact information and verify data for accuracy. Create, manage, and update data in CRM system. Generate interest and set appointments through warm and cold calling. Follow-up on leads generated through marketing campaigns. Attend networking events. Schedule five or more new meetings per week. Manage incoming referrals, vetting out potential, and driving new business.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 10 years’ experience in the refining and petrochemical sectors along the Gulf Coast. Minimum 5 years’ experience selling environmental and industrial services to the refinery sector.
Experience
selling tank cleaning and industrial services to the refinery sector preferred. Interest in business development (rather than account management) with a “hunter” mentality.
Experience
or technological aptitude (working with CRM systems a plus). Entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to do “whatever it takes” to achieve results in a start-up environment. Ability to interface easily with a diverse group of people. Intuitive and creative problem solver, resourceful and flexible thinker Strong communication skills: listening and persuasion – credible persona Track record of taking initiative and meeting or exceeding tight timelines with attention to detail. Pay Transparency Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
