The Department of Architecture at Kansas State University invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position beginning August 2026.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Architecture (Baccalaureate or Post-Baccalaureate MArch or equivalent).
- Professional practice experience in Architecture.
- Interest and ability to teach architectural design studio.
- Capability to integrate contemporary design tools into his or her design studio teaching.
The degree requirement is necessary for accreditation purposes and to ensure candidates possess the specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities that can only be attained through a formal educational program at this level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching architectural design studio and capability to serve in a design studio leadership role.
- Established scholarly/creative agenda.
- Record of service to the academic and professional communities
