[EXPANDED SCOPE] This position is responsible for overseeing and driving change projects across multiple markets while serving as the strategic communications leader for the wider region. The key focus combines enabling experience-led change by empowering all WE&O teams to support workspace refurbishments, relocations, and new programmes with developing and executing cohesive communication strategies that ensure colleagues are informed, engaged, and empowered throughout workspace transitions while maintaining consistent, compelling communications across all touchpoints. The Change & Communications Lead enables a cohesive process between the WE&O team, projects team, as well as other functions within the business, i.e., Communications, HR, and Leadership. This role works to ensure a smooth transition from inception to go-live, leading transformative change with customer experience in mind while ensuring consistent brand messaging and employee engagement across the region. This is an exciting role for a change leader and strategic communicator who has a track record in project management, client/stakeholder management, communication, content strategy, brand management, as well as a focus on service delivery. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like Core

Responsibilities

Change Enablement (Existing Foundation) The Change & Communications Lead's overall responsibility is to ensure onsite WE&O change ambassadors are activated and onboarded for all identified and approved projects across the region, and work with them and the wider project team as appropriate, to develop and execute ongoing change management strategies aligned with colleague experiences and operational facilities management requirements while simultaneously managing strategic communications initiatives. Project Management Ensure participation in identified and approved projects. Contribute by noting new projects coming into stage 1 and facilitate the provision of insights and learnings to regional project teams. Raise concerns for discussion, if any. Ensure a governance process and cadence is in place for all POCs and projects locally, as appropriate. Ensure the change process is executed in a programmatic fashion, as appropriate. Ensure the WE&O change ambassadors and the nominated change champions from the client side are provided adequate information, training, and support to mobilise change, as appropriate. Provide regional consultation, governance, and oversight. Develop change strategy in partnership with Sub-regional Workspace

Experience

Lead and onsite WE&O team, with consultation from client, as appropriate. Keep the resource bank up to date and provide tools/templates (decision tree, project tracker, project run sheet, signages, welcome guide, etc.) to WE&O teams, where applicable. Ensure the onsite team have made plans and provisions for a Day 1 experience, where applicable – mobilising for move-in engagement and activities. Ensure that WE&O services and offerings are turned on, as appropriate. Client/Stakeholder Management and Communication Lead comprehensive stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies across all organizational levels, identifying key influencers, decision-makers, and change champions Develop and maintain stakeholder communication matrices that define engagement frequency, messaging approaches, and feedback mechanisms for each stakeholder group Conduct regular stakeholder impact assessments to understand how workspace changes affect different business units, functions, and colleague populations Facilitate senior leadership alignment sessions with C-suite executives, business heads, and functional leaders to secure buy-in and resolve strategic conflicts Partner with local experience teams and communications support to develop collateral that aligns with HSBC's standards Serve as an active stakeholder on project calls and coordinate stakeholder meetings with appointed HSBC RES Representatives Facilitate close collaboration with lines of business and functions to ensure effective experience-led change enablement Leadership Management Guide the team through structured change process phases from assessment through implementation to sustainability, ensuring consistent application of methodologies Mentor team members in change management techniques, stakeholder engagement best practices, and organizational psychology principles Establish team performance metrics and dashboards to track engagement effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction Guide the team in developing change personas and journey maps to better understand colleague experiences throughout workspace transitions Continuous Improvement Collaborate proactively with regional and global teams to maintain alignment with organizational goals, serving as bridge between execution and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives Contribute communications best practices, innovative templates, and thought leadership to the Regional/Global
