Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day system administration/management activities that may include configuration adjustment/deployment, testing of OS/VMs and additional software. Resolve problem management issues regarding system/operations by identifying corrective measures/improvements in accordance with the service level agreement. Deploy releases/updates according to the Change Management process. May take part in the planning and implementation of system/network projects/improvements, ensuring adherence to detailed processes and procedures and risk mitigation efforts. Interact with network services, software systems engineering and/or applications development in order to guarantee availability of services and/or identify root cause of problems. Automate administrative tasks and improve the monitoring of systems ensuring efficiency in line with customer needs and departmental policies. Participate in the development and maintenance of services resilience design and systems operations principles. Ensure the accurate level of security on the systems and during daily work. This role requires participation in a on-call support rotation, including occasional weekend work. Technical skills Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong IT knowledge including Windows recent Operating Systems, hardware, backup and monitoring (SCOM). Proven understanding of Windows Domain & system administration, Expert in Active Directory management & GPO handling/implementation. Familiarity with SCCM or Intune required. Good knowledge of Networking, DHCP, DNS and TCP/IP. Knowledge of virtualization (VMware administration) and PowerShell scripting is must. Flexible standout colleague able to work in an Partial Agile driven organization. Proficient in English (spoken and written), proficiency in French or Dutch is a plus. Soft skills 01.
