Job description

Role Purpose · Supports the Cyber Security Programmes to ensure projects and programmes are delivered in line with LSEG standards and controls. Role

Responsibilities

· Supports implementation of governance standards across multiple projects and programmes, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of project deliverables · Monitors the progress of tasks against timelines and budgets, advising Project and Programme Managers where activities are behind schedule or over budget · Collates, consolidates and analyses project information to produce reports, status updates and commentary · Completes quality assurance of project plans and logs to ensure information is complete, up to date and in line with standard · Drives financial management and variance analysis for projects · Stakeholder management of various levels - oversee purchase orders including timely receipting, milestone deliverables and costs charged to projects. Adoption and alignment to the LSEG Group Delivery Disciplines Adopt and embed best practice into all new projects through the alignment to the framework Oversee required artefacts for the various stage gates and retain these centrally as well any associated approvals Ensure when a project deviates from the defined stage gate criteria, milestones or spend that the exceptions process is followed and approved by correct stakeholders Act as a Project Management Governance champion across the stakeholder community for projects Provide input into the continuous improvements process based on feedback from the stakeholder community Data Collation and Reporting Ensure completeness and currency of project, programme, and portfolio data in the relevant PM system(s)Review of content and ensure reported data aligns to necessary requirements and standards Amalgamation, filtering, and consolidating of project, programme and portfolio data for analysis and reporting purposes Collate accurate and relevant data to support budgeting and forecasting Review project plans and timelines, and develop work schedules to achieve project timeline and milestonesCollate, track and present project purchases against various vendors for procurement Data Administration and Control Data administration, reconciliation, validation and data cleanse Ensuring that project and programme data is in the PM systems and storage for completeness and currency Document project resource requirement, assisting with planning if necessary To undertake ad hoc tasks as required from time to time by the Finance Business Partner to assist in the financial management of projects Tracking project and programme financial spend and forecasts. Communications Deliver clear and accurate analysis to facilitate stakeholder discussions Builds trust by consistently understanding and fulfilling stakeholder requests in an accurate, timely and professional manner. Provide communications to all stakeholders across the programme including, but not limited to, Finance Business Partners, Project Managers and PMO Contacts and liaises with Finance Business Partners for authorisation of Finance codes/Budget. Experience

Working with teams in multiple locations globally simultaneously Overseeing multiple projects involving different Project Managers, Stakeholders and governance structures Minimum 3 years experience in project management

Experience

in a similar project analysis or support role a must

Experience

in large financial services organisations and the area of Cyber Security would be beneficial A strong customer service focus and the ability to build effective working relationships with employees and external stakeholders/suppliers.

Education

Educated to degree level or equivalent IT Skills Strong computer literacy, including advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, and a willingness and skill to learn new tools quickly Strong information management, collation and reporting skills, and proficiency with reporting tools such as Clarity PPM or other similar PPM tools Strong knowledge and experience of formal project management methodologies, project planning, project financial management, and project resource management Strong experience in MS Excel

with Purchase Order Management systems. Oracle Fusion and SAP a bonus. Soft Skills Continuously adopt a pragmatic, flexible and responsive approach. Manage competing demands from various projects/managers simultaneously Applies judgement to assess the relative importance of assigned tasks and prioritises effectively To ensure good internal control with respect to the Finances and Approval process. For example, purchase orders (PO’s) are raised and signed by the appropriate signatories, PO’s are raised using the correct Finance codes, and invoices are processed using the correct PO numbers. Good information analysis and presentation skills, with the ability to represent complex information in a simple and meaningful way Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to work within a team The ability to work effectively in a team environment and to process deadlines.
