About this role As a Accounting Leader located in India Finance Airoli Navi Mumbai you will be responsible for the Cost accounting activities as a team lead. Responsibilities
Assist the site cost Leader in implementing the functional and organizational strategy and supplement in achieving the functional and organizational goals. Serves as first-line leader for a team of young and dynamic professionals. Sets priorities for team to meet operational objectives and complete assigned tasks Possesses expertise Knowledge of operational business practices and similar experience with multinational organization in shared service model Understands how to apply established practices and coordinate activities of multiple teams to improve efficiency. Very high degree of Stakeholder management experience and expertise required. Collaboration with other regional team and sharing and implementing global approach and best practices among regional team Overall team management, which includes helping team members with work process questions/issues to ensure deadlines are met, reviewing the team’s vacation requests and ensuring back-up support is in place, interview participation when hiring, coordinate on-boarding/training for new team members, distribution of work, providing team member feedback and assist with ongoing coaching. Sponsor the contractors on the team, which includes approving monthly time submissions, regular mentoring/coaching, and providing written annual performance feedback to Kelly Services Rep. Lead implementation of new work for the team, which includes meeting with Cost Leaders and Cost Accountants to discuss work transition request, determine timing/capacity needed and distribution of work to team members, coordinate the training, documentation and transition of the new work, and follow-up as needed to ensure transition is successful. Proving monthly and quarterly update to the site cost leaders and regional costing leaders and business cost leaders People management – Assist team in preparing and finalizing annual goals and doing performance review and providing regular feedbacks. Assist and encourage team member in preparing employee development plan and help them with identification and action plan for developmental needs based on team member long term/short term career aspirations. Ensure team is fully motivated and in good spirit throughout. Required
Qualifications
Qualified CMA/CA with 10+ years of similar team lead experience 10+ years of relevant experience is required, with Manufacturing Cost Experience. Proficiency in Powerpoint presentation and other stakeholders’ presentation Preferred Qualification: 10+ years of shared service or costing experience in large manufacturing setup Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, Power Query and other automation tool People leadership or having prior experience of handling large team Your Skills : Very strong verbal and written communication required. Able to handle multiple priorities from multiple sources. Must be organized self-starter exhibiting good judgement and the flexibility to adopt to priority changes and demand Additional Notes: The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones is essential.
