Job Profile Summary This position, embedded in the Liquidity Management and Money Market Team of GT Singapore, is responsible for dealing and execution activities of ING Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo’s liquidity and money market activities. The Liquidity Management and Money Market (“LM&MM”) team is responsible for ensuring the bank remains compliant with internal and external liquidity limits. This includes: Daily monitoring & management of the bank’s cash and FX positions. Pricing & Execution of internal and external funding transactions. Pricing and Execution of FX and IR derivative transactions. Monitoring and management of relevant liquidity, FX and interest rate limits. Contribute to projects pertaining to the LM&MM function. The team deals with external parties including the MAS, HKMA and BOJ. It deals in Money Markets, CP and CD issuance, HQLA investments and FX on the bank’s behalf. The team works closely with the other Group Treasury teams in the APAC region and the global LM&MM team to ensure efficient management of the bank’s balance sheet. Compliance - Adhere to all ING policies and complete all mandatory training requirements. Maintain an open and transparent culture by reporting all incidents. Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will support treasury and liquidity management activities, ensuring effective cash position management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement across the organization. Key responsibilities include: Manage daily cash and liquidity positions across multiple currencies to ensure sufficient funding and operational efficiency. Execute internal funding transactions and coordinate funding activities across business units and entities. Support foreign exchange (FX), money market, and liquidity management activities in accordance with approved treasury policies and risk limits. Monitor and forecast short and medium-term liquidity requirements to support business and regulatory needs. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory liquidity requirements and internal risk management frameworks. Review treasury, liquidity, and risk reports on a regular basis and escalate material observations where appropriate. Assess the impact of regulatory, market, and policy changes on treasury activities and recommend suitable actions. Collaborate with Finance, Risk Management, and business stakeholders on liquidity, funding, and balance sheet management initiatives. Participate in the evaluation and implementation of treasury-related process improvements and optimization opportunities. Prepare management information, analysis, and reports to support decision-making and strategic planning. Contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned. What we're looking for: Essential: Degree in finance, commerce, economics or related disciplines. Minimum of 3 years of working experience. Thorough proficiency in excel including VBA. Strong communication skills, an analytical and holistic mindset. High degree of initiative and motivation. Diligent, committed, and independent approach, very much a Team player. Desirable: High level knowledge of financial markets and the application of FX and MM products to the management of balance sheet risks. Experience with Bloomberg. Relevant working experience in Treasury or Markets environment.
