About the Role
This is a hands-on, customer-embedded engineering role at a Y Combinator–backed enterprise AI platform startup. You'll work alongside an Enterprise AI Transformation Lead to scope, build, and ship production-grade AI agents and integrations directly within major DACH enterprise accounts — helping them become genuinely AI-native. The work you deliver on-site feeds directly back into the core product.
What You'll Do
- Embed on-site with major DACH enterprise customers, running workshops, hackathons, and implementation sprints.
- Scope, build, integrate, debug, and teach customer teams to adopt production agents and multi-step workflows end-to-end.
- Ship high-leverage use cases including complex agents, custom integrations, MCP servers, and agentic workflows.
- Partner with customer CTOs and platform teams as a technical peer and sparring partner.
- Leave behind systems customers can own and operate independently.
- Identify platform gaps and implement customer-driven product improvements directly with the engineering team.
- Automate your own workflow by building agents that eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
- Travel significantly across the DACH region as part of the role.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of engineering experience delivering production-grade software, ideally in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience shipping agentic AI systems, tool-use loops, and LLM-powered features that operate reliably under load.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills with the ability to scope and implement end-to-end solutions, including integrations with external enterprise systems.
- Experience building custom integrations and MCP servers for agent deployment.
- Proven ability to scope a complex customer use case in a live meeting and deliver end-to-end — fast and pragmatically.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Native-level German proficiency (required).
- Based in Munich or willing to relocate, with comfort travelling extensively across DACH.
- Founder or early-employee experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with Go is a bonus, as is familiarity with AI coding tools for building and deploying agents.
- High agency, strong ownership mindset, low ego.
