Job Description 1, Job responsibility Engagement with External Leaders • Develop the SLs list for the regions to be covered. • Develop the annual Regional Medical Affair Plan based on the Country Medical Affair Plan and regional characteristics. • Engage in non-promotional, peer-to-peer exchange of medical and scientific information with SLs or KDMs. • Organize medical and scientific exchange activities, which include but are not limited to journal clubs and expert input forums. • Gain deep insights on disease, therapeutic area and healthcare needs, data gaps and challenges in local geography. • Build trust with participation in and scientific contribution to scientific societies and health organizations. • Provide scientific support on clinical trial, including Company Sponsored Trial and Investigator Initiated Study, to the extent permitted by law and local regulation, local industry codes, and company policy. Internal Support • Provide insights on scientific gaps, ideas and other topics gathered from scientific exchange to inform areas of interest, development programs, and company strategy. • Support company commercial colleagues by providing on-label or disease state scientific training, when requested and where allowed. • Provide scientific support in interdepartmental cooperation. Qualification, Skills & Experience Minimum Required: · Academic request: Master and above degree · Work experience: Minimum 1-2 years Medical Science Liaison experience. · Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentations) and interpersonal skills of Mandarin AND/OR English. · Knowledge of local regulatory and clinical research guidelines. · Strong prioritization skills and ability to understand how decisions fit into the broader corporate strategies. Preferred: Clinical and/or research experience in therapeutic area of interest.
