Mission Join ING Procurement and help shape how we work with suppliers across the bank. You will lead sourcing initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to efficient, sustainable, and well-managed supplier partnerships. About the team You will join a collaborative Procurement team that works closely with stakeholders across ING to deliver efficient and compliant sourcing solutions. Your day to day Support end-to-end sourcing and category management activities across a diverse portfolio of goods and services Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define sourcing strategies, and support procurement initiatives Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify opportunities, innovations, and market trends Prepare and manage requests for information (RFI), requests for proposal (RFP), and supplier selection processes Evaluate supplier proposals and participate in commercial negotiations to achieve the best business outcomes Support contract negotiations, supplier onboarding, and contract lifecycle management activities Contribute to supplier due diligence, risk assessments, and compliance checks Identify and support cost optimization and value creation opportunities across procurement categories Monitor procurement performance, savings delivery, and sourcing project progress Maintain procurement records, contract databases, and reporting tools while ensuring data quality and accuracy Contribute to forming the sourcing teams & define business and functional requirements/ selection criteria for different projects. What you bring to the team 2+ years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Vendor Management, Contract Management, or a related business function within a financial institution is considered an advantage Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data, assess supplier proposals, and support informed business decisions Curiosity and willingness to learn, with a genuine interest in procurement, supplier management, and market dynamics Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships at all levels Proactive mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Good negotiation and influencing skills, combined with a customer-focused and results-oriented approach Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a structured manner Good English communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with local and international stakeholders Interest in areas such as banking operations, technology, facilities, marketing, real estate, or project management Team player who enjoys collaborating, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a positive and inclusive working environment.
