Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into application designs and APEX components. Develop APEX applications: pages, forms, interactive reports/grids, charts, dashboards, and REST‑enabled modules. Implement PL/SQL logic, dynamic actions, validations, authorizations, and process flows. Design and optimize database objects (tables, views, packages, triggers, indexes). Integrate APEX apps with REST/SOAP web services, external systems, and SSO/security frameworks. Perform unit and system testing; support UAT and production deployment. Optimize performance and usability; apply UI/UX best practices using templates, themes, CSS, and JavaScript when required. Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain technical documentation. Required Skills &
Qualifications
Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle APEX (recent versions). Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills and solid understanding of relational data modelling.
Experience
with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery for customizing APEX apps. Familiarity with RESTful services, JSON/XML, and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS). Understanding of security concepts: authentication, authorization, roles, and data protection. 2-4 + years in Oracle development, including APEX projects. Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills; ability to work with business users. Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent; Oracle APEX or database certifications are a plus.
