Job Summary
WDH Head and Neck specialty is located at 361 High Street Somersworth, New Hampshire 03878. Our mission is providing state-of-the-art medical and surgical care for our patients with disorders of the ears, nose, and throat. Health problems associated with the head and neck can be common and happen at any age. Some of the conditions we treat include: Nasal and Sinus Disease Sleep Disorders, Sleep Apnea & Snoring Allergies Asthma Hearing Loss Chronic Ear Infections ENT Cancer We are seeking a 32-hour Audiologist to join our outpatient practice, offering a consistent, onsite four-day workweek. The specific four days worked can be flexible based on the needs of the practice and provider, with the same day off each week. Work alongside a collaborative team of audiologists, surgeons, and medical providers in a busy outpatient setting. You’ll enjoy:
- An established outpatient practice with a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- A manageable patient volume of approximately 8 patients per day, with 40–50 minute appointments
- Built-in administrative time to support your clinical responsibilities
- Dedicated scheduling support, allowing you to remain focused on patient care
- The opportunity to collaborate closely with two surgeons and two additional medical providers Responsible for selecting and fitting hearing aids for customers. Administers and interprets tests of hearing. Assesses hearing instrument efficacy. Takes ear impressions and prepares, designs, and modifies ear molds. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
Essential Functions
- Cochlear implant evaluations and programming.
- Tinnitus evaluations, counseling, and treatment.
- Monitor patients' progress and provide ongoing observation of hearing or balance status.
- Fit, dispense, and repair assistive devices, such as hearing aids.
- Educates patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment options and continuing care.
- Research causes and potential treatments for hearing and balance disorders.

Education
Doctorate Audiology required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
Licenses and Credentials
Audiologist [State License] - required Basic Life Support [BLS] - preferred
Experience
Audiology or Hearing Testing experience 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong patient/customer service skills. - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - DPOAE, ABR, ENG/VNG, hearing aid evaluation, dispensing and follow-up, and using electronic health records for documentation.
