Job Description: The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day execution of inventory and material control activities that directly support manufacturing operations. This role focuses on ensuring accurate inventory records, timely material availability to production lines, and adherence to established inventory control, safety, and quality procedures. The Inventory Supervisor works closely with production teams to prevent material shortages, resolve discrepancies, and maintain proper material flow on the shop floor. While primarily operational in nature, this role provides frontline leadership and serves as the first level of escalation for inventory-related issues impacting production.

Responsibilities
Supervise daily inventory, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting activities Ensure accurate receipt, labeling, put-away, and system transactions for inbound materials Coordinate line-side replenishment and finished goods staging using forklifts and other approved equipment Lead inventory team members, material handlers, , and forklift operators on assigned shifts Ensure associates are trained and certified before operating forklifts or powered industrial equipment Enforce safe operation, pre-shift inspections, and proper use of material handling equipment Perform scheduled cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies Crosstrain team members on basic inventory, receiving, shipping, and equipment operation tasks Support physical inventory and audit activities Comply with all policies and procedures Other duties as assigned

Requirements
High School diploma or GED required. Associates or technical degree preferred. Supervisory and/or leadership training a plus. 1-3 years of material handling, warehouse, or inventory experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to operate and maintain a forklift and box truck certification required Must be self-directed and motivated; able to operate independently with limited supervision and exercise proper judgment; able to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
