Your role & work environment Within Group Treasury Luxembourg, you will contribute to safeguarding ING Luxembourg’s capital, funding and liquidity position in both normal and stressed market conditions. Group Treasury acts as a key link between the business, financial markets and Group Treasury, managing liquidity, funding and interest rate risk to ensure the bank remains within risk appetite and can continue supporting its clients with confidence. As a Senior Dealer & Analyst, you will strengthen the Group Treasury team in Luxembourg and play a key role in interest rate risk management, balance sheet management and treasury transformation initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, senior management, Market Risk Management, Finance and Group Treasury. Your key responsibilities Manage and optimise the economic interest rate risk position of ING Luxembourg, linking business flows to balance sheet items and translating them into appropriate hedging actions. Oversee Group Treasury interest rate risk management books and ensure they remain within mandate, policy and risk appetite. Advise business stakeholders and senior management on net interest margin stabilisation, balance sheet developments and interest rate risk implications. Execute and monitor financial market transactions, ranging from day-to-day Nostro cash optimisation to longer-dated interest rate swaps used to hedge the bank against adverse market moves. Validate and challenge risk and P&L reporting, working closely with Market Risk Management, Finance and Group Treasury Head Office. Contribute to transformation initiatives, including changes to the Target Operating Model, system migrations and future book integrity. Support colleagues across the bank in understanding interest rate risk, IRRBB requirements and treasury architecture by translating technical concepts into clear business messages. As a Senior Dealer & Analys you will also need: Your profile Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in banking, treasury, financial markets or interest rate risk management. Strong experience with Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) and related mechanics. Sound understanding of interest rate risk management tools, balance sheet dynamics and financial accounting treatment. Financial Markets certification, such as FRM, is considered an asset. Competencies Strong analytical and risk-aware mindset. Ability to translate complex topics into practical insights for senior stakeholders. Structured and detail-oriented approach. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Team player with the ability to work independently. Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment. Proficient in Excel and professional position-keeping tools. Languages Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. French is considered an asset.
