This position reports to: Quality Manager __ Your role and responsibilities We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer in order to strengthen our Quality team. You will support the deployment of the Quality strategy, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and even exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response and sustainable solution to problems. Collaborate with of local functions that impact on the quality results in order to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aiming for world-class level performance. The work model for the role is onsite. This role is contributing to the Smart Power Business Area. You will be mainly accountable for: You will be the key actor in the management of non-conformity incidents, for this reason you will cooperate closely with other business functions and suppliers You will act as point of reference for suppliers in the management of the non-conformities You will perform supplier process audits, system audits, and product audits for supplier compliance with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or industry-specific requirements You will be responsible to manage all supplier performance quality data in an accurate way in order to better understand the status quo and prevent future non-conformities as continuous improvement by leading and supporting Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects at suppliers You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or related fields Bachelor’s degree in Engineering You are at ease communicating in English You are qualified in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and ERP systems Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), APQP / PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, Quality Auditing, Industrial Manufacturing Processes Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to think critically, adapt to change, and work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
