Job Description You will demonstrate competencies to ensure success in projects on product design compliance to certifications, regulation component engineering. These would include electrical safety, explosive atmosphere, electromagnetic compatibility, and environmental compliance. Ensure products continue to comply all requirements throughout its lifecycle. Plan and implement country-specific and technology-specific certification requirements to support product commercialization and lifecycle compliance. Responsibilities

Continuously Improve work methods, techniques to improve Competencies. Participate in team reviews focusing on completion of product compliance deliverables including compliance and design review, creation of certification plans and test plans, publications, and test reports approval. Serve as the primary liaison with third-party agencies such as UL, Intertek, ABS, DNV-GL, etc. Lead cross-functional projects to manage changes to products and processes to ensure compliance integrity to new or changed product environmental regulations, audits, and safety certification requirements. Analyze regulatory trends and make implementation recommendations. Lead the planning, execution, and maintenance of country-specific and technology-specific certifications and regulatory approvals to support global market access. Utilize AI and digital tools to improve efficiency in regulatory research, certification management, document preparation, and compliance monitoring. Review and validate AI-generated outputs using sound engineering judgement, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements. You will Influence business groups to incorporate regulatory and certification requirements into product designs. Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. The Essentials - You Will Have: Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware design, incorporating electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility considerations for electrical and electronics industrial automation products.

Experience

of direct supervision to an Engineering team is advantageous.

Experience

in regulatory, country-specific compliance and environmental certification will be an added advantage. Proficient in utilizing AI-powered productivity platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Engineering Knowledge Management Systems) to support compliance engineering activities. The Preferred - You Might Also Have: You will review product design according to IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-201, ANSI 12.12.01, IEC 60079-0 and IEC 60079-7. Practical hands-on experience in electrical safety testing under UL DAP Program and electromagnetic compatibility testing. Familiar and has experience implementing ISO/IEC 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 80079-34 requirements.
