At H&P, our people are our strength. JOB SUMMARY: The Floorhand is primarily responsible for performing various manual labor tasks through the rig site. RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates core values and safety standards according to the H&P way Performs rig up and down activities Performs “nippling up or nippling down” of the blowout preventor stack Performs general repairs and maintenance on major and minor rig components Conducts assigned activities on the rig floor Assists Derrickhand with mud-mixing duties Assists Motorhand as needed Up to date on current WorkDay trainings as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: Proficient in Microsoft: World, Excel, Outlook and H&P applications Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must be a team player Must be committed to the H&P Way and H&P’s core values of Actively C.A.R.E., Service Attitude, Innovative Spirit, Teamwork, and Do the Right Thing Demonstrated commitment to H&P’s Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and C.A.R.E. processes (COACH people-based safety, Compass Cards, LifeBelts, JSAs, hotwork, confined space entry, lock-out/tag-out, dropped object prevention, etc.) with a proven track record of compliance Flexible and adaptable, able to overcome and solve problems Ensures compliance with all relevant H&P policies Leads, understands and applies local, territory, state and federal statutory obligations Apply relevant Saudi legislation as it pertains to Drilling, HSE obligations and expectations, reporting and audit Ability to effectively work in indigenous environments Thank you for your interest in joining our team!
