Associate Engineer (Generation Operation Support/System Control Department)
Job description
[What the role is] This role sits within the Power System Operation Division (PSOD), which ensures the secure and reliable operation of Singapore’s power system. It supports 24/7 monitoring of the electricity market, generation dispatch, and transmission system, including reporting, data analysis, coordination with power stations, and power system studies. [What you will be working on]
Responsibilities
To assist the Control Manager in the realtime (24x7) monitoring of the electricity market, generation dispatch and transmission system to ensure the secure and reliable operation of the power system.
Duties
include: i. Preparation of advisory notices/ reports for publication in the Electricity Market; ii. Compilation of operational data for analysis; iii. Coordinating with power stations on generation dispatch, and iv. Assisting the Control Manager to perform power system simulation studies. [What we are looking for]
Requirements

Education
