Job Summary

The Section of Cardiology is looking for a Research Technician to work within the Dr. Kirk research lab in the Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology.

Responsibilities

Assists with animal and mass spectrometry experiments. Records findings/results. Maintains laboratory notebook. Helps with lab maintenance, ordering of supplies, stocking shelves, and clean-up. Performs basic lab technique, such as making of buffers, pipetting, immunoblots, PCR, and microscopy. Performs experiments for specific projects. Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project. Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens. Conducts literature reviews. Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents. Performs other related work as needed. Minimum
