Accordingly, if you will now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status this moratorium may affect our ability to employ you should you be selected as the final candidate. ______________________________________________________________________________ The Program Coordinator II will report directly to the Program Director and the School of Public and Allied Health leadership team to develop and implement programs that engage students, faculty, staff, and internal and external stakeholders. The salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.
Responsibilities
Support program growth and development initiatives; assist with strategic planning; develop and implement program goals and objectives; coordinate and monitor program activities; support continuous improvement efforts that advance the mission of the School of Public and Allied Health. Evaluate programs for compliance with federal, state, local, university, and departmental regulations; coordinate data collection and reporting; prepare and submit reports requested by university departments; maintain documentation for audits, accreditation, assessments, and program reviews. Serve as liaison between the Program Director, direct reports, faculty, staff, students, university departments, and external constituents; facilitate communication regarding program initiatives; coordinate outreach, marketing, and promotional activities; support stakeholder engagement initiatives. Develop and maintain filing systems and recordkeeping processes for efficient retrieval of documents; manage program files, records, and correspondence; support operational workflows and administrative processes. Coordinate special initiatives, meetings, events, and strategic projects; provide administrative support to leadership; assist with implementation of departmental priorities; perform other duties as assigned. Experience
Bachelor’s degree Four years of related experience. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Health or closely related field. Five years of experience working as program coordinator in a university setting. Significant experience working in a public health/university setting. Excellent customer service with a program participant focus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills. Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, WebEx and MS Teams. Be detail oriented. Skilled in establishing effective and constructive working relationships. Ability to develop and oversee implementation of program policies and procedures. Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information. Knowledge of organization and administration of public health and/or kinesiology programs.
