Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking either a Principal Facilities Planner (Level 3) or a Senior Principal Facilities Planner (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be on site in Palmdale, CA. Primary
Duties
will include: Responsible for construction project work planning and scheduling Develop and maintain the master project schedule for all facilities construction projects Problem-solving skills necessary to planning and coordinating construction projects and moves to implement the work in a planned, organized, effective manner Collaboration skills to work with multiple disciplines and work styles Coordinate with all stakeholders as necessary to ensure efficient construction project activity execution Self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision, ability to multitask and exercise good judgment, with good follow-up skills Acts as primary contact for office and project planning team and internal customers Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master design and campus plans Identifies problems and develops solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing project scope Support the Project Managers assigned to the project and is the main contact for furniture, fixtures, and office equipment This position may be filled as either a level 3 Principal Facilities Planner or level 4 Senior Principal Facilities Planner depending on qualifications below. Qualifications
for Principal Facilities Planner (Level 3): High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience in facilities planning or facilities project management experience, Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in facilities planning or facilities project management experience or a Master’s Degree with 3 years of stated experience.
Experience
planning or executing activities, such as planning maintenance and construction work for facilities infrastructure and/or production equipment Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain required Program Access (PAR) Basic
Qualifications
for Senior Principal Facilities Planner (Level 4): High School Diploma/GED with 11 years of experience in facilities planning or facilities project management experience, Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in facilities planning or facilities project management experience or a Master’s Degree with 6 years of stated experience.
Experience
planning or executing activities, such as planning maintenance and construction work for facilities infrastructure and/or production equipment Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain required Program Access (PAR)
Preferred Qualifications
Aerospace/ Commercial industry facilities maintenance experience working with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing, trade personnel Active Secret Clearance Active Program Access Microsoft Project experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
