Position Purpose: The individual in this position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for Production departments.
Responsibilities
include, assisting the departmental scheduler with maintaining the inventory levels of materials and any clerical support needed for daily production, to include updating data entry in the Manufacturing Reporting systems. This role is onsite 5 days a week based in Stratham, NH. Essential Job Functions &
Responsibilities
Scheduling Assists with the creation, changing and distribution of the daily production work orders and labels, in order to schedule the production of products and/or semi-finished goods. Assists with ordering and monitoring, materials entering and leaving the production department. Responsible for the coordination of the use of product on quality hold with the Planning & Quality departments. Inventory Control Assists the Departmental Scheduler on a daily basis with maintaining inventory control procedures (cycle counts) in the department. Maintain consistent communication with Supervision as issues arise. Coordinate the cycle count within the production area, identify root causes for discrepancies and elaborate propositions to solve problems. Identify discrepancies pertaining to work orders, while partnering with Line Operators to resolve paperwork issues in a timely manner. Assist in the training of the use of the RF inventory scanners within the department, including assisting Line Operators with problem solving issues that may occur while operating the scanners, and the printing of pallet tags. Be instrumental in the organization of materials in the production department (which may include the liquid chocolate stored in tanks and analysis surrounding the load cells of the tanks). Be instrumental in the reconciliation of the "handoff" locations between the production department and the warehouse. Reporting Communicate variances and problems related to bill of materials to the Production Scheduler and Supervision in a timely manner to insure accurate information is entered into the system. Maintains variance reporting and communicate any variances, between standards and actual results to the department Supervisor as well as escalate critical issues to management in a timely manner. Enter and close out daily work orders within all Manufacturing Reporting systems, reporting any discrepancies that would affect future inventory planning to the Supervisor and the Departmental Scheduler. Assist in the automation of tasks and training of the employees surrounding the reporting and transport of product within the production area. Support and train supervisors/line operators in the use of the production data processing program (ADP). Assist in the OEE reporting for the production area. Provide feedback and support to new developments and improvements of the ERP system. Additional duties as deemed necessary.

Experience
2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment; or 1-2 years prior experience as Administrative Assistant Demonstrated proficiency with a computer and with MS software. 1-2 years inventory control experience preferred Skills & Knowledge: Proficient in MS office, experience in ERP systems a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Results oriented, flexible with shifts, and duties as described by Supervision
Education
