Responsibilities
Salesforce Dev Lead is responsible for providing support and guidance to the offshore dev team to perform their activities in a timely manner. Salesforce Dev Lead is accountable for performing production releases to the platform Develop Salesforce solutions adhering to platform best practices, including custom platform development, back-office system integrations (often using middleware tools), and complex data migrations. Effectively communicate with business stakeholders to understand their problems and provide tailored solutions. Manage Business as Usual (BAU) and production platform ownership. Schedule and lead monthly calls with business stakeholders to explain the status of backlog JIRA items, discuss priorities, and create the next release plan. Manage daily calls with Development and QA teams. Participate in development workstreams from design through testing and deployment. Work on projects following the Agile software development model. Assist in creating technical design and functional specifications. Collaborate with project leadership to estimate work effort and set realistic development schedules. Troubleshoot technical issues and identify necessary modifications.
Experience
in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes. Work in a team environment with both onshore and offshore developers. Work closely with the client team for knowledge transfer and education.
Job Requirements
10+ years of experience in Configuration and Customization of Salesforce platform applications, development and support.
Experience
with the Following Clouds Sales Cloud Marketing Cloud Account Engagement CRM Analytics Knowledge Proficient in APEX (batch classes, triggers), Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Salesforce standard configuration, sharing rules (standard and custom), workflows, process builders, flows, integrations, and custom objects. Strong object-oriented development skills. Recognized as a subject matter expert on the team for Salesforce. Direct experience in software development, programming design, and systems management.
Experience
with Salesforce CLI (SFDX) for building automation and using tools like Visual Studio Code.
Experience
in developing and generating detailed analytical reports on customer behaviors, sales trends, and campaign performance.
Experience
with JIRA, Bitbucket/GIT for source control, and CI/CD.
Experience
providing guidance to the junior team members.
Experience
in setting up AI agents (Agentforce / Co-pilot) & exposure to Vibe Coding in Salesforce. Help in providing strategic and tactical solutions where possible. Preferred Familiarity with HTML, XML, JSON, jQuery, SOAP, AJAX, JavaScript (including modern libraries), Adobe Flex, Java, JSP, PHP, .NET, SQL. Knowledge of Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase. Ability to rapidly learn and leverage new concepts, business models, and technologies.
Experience
with other CRM software (Oracle, Dynamics, etc.) is a plus but not required.
Experience
as a Scrum Master. Relevant certifications such as Certified Salesforce App Builder, Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II. nCino / FSC configuration knowledge. Has an interest in keeping up with the latest Salesforce technology news.
