Job Title MR Systems Architect Job Description Job Description As a MR Systems Architect, you will play a key role in driving system definition, design integration, risk management, and technical problem solving for Philips MR products. You will work across global and local R&D teams to translate system-level requirements into subsystem and component requirements, ensuring product quality, reliability, regulatory compliance, and successful product delivery. You will serve as a critical technical interface between Global System Engineering, System Architects, and component development teams, contributing to the development of next-generation MR systems. Responsibilities
System Engineering & Architecture Analyze, define, and manage system and subsystem requirements. Drive requirement decomposition from system level to subsystem and component level. Support system architecture design and overall system integration activities. Ensure component designs comply with system requirements and product objectives. Evaluate system performance and reliability through data analysis and engineering methodologies. Technical Leadership Lead technical reviews, design reviews, and feasibility studies. Provide technical guidance throughout the product development lifecycle. Make design recommendations that improve product reliability, performance, and user experience. Support concept exploration, system definition, design verification, issue investigation, and continuous improvement activities. Risk & Quality Management Lead FMEA and risk management activities. Drive defect management and root cause analysis. Investigate technical issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards. Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with Global System Engineering teams, System Architects, PMO, subsystem teams, and component development teams. Influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple functions and locations. Facilitate effective communication and decision making throughout development programs.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Electrical Engineering Electronic Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science Biomedical Engineering Or related engineering disciplines.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in MR Systems Engineering or related medical imaging product development. Solid experience in system design, system integration, and product development. Hands-on experience in risk management, technical problem solving, and reliability engineering.
Experience

Strong understanding of MR product architecture and technologies.
Experience
conducting feasibility studies and system-level trade-off analysis. DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) certification. INCOSE CSEP certification or equivalent Systems Engineering qualification.
