Job description

Role Purpose Treasury at LSEG is a best-in-class treasury function which supports the delivery of the Group's strategy through funding, liquidity management, risk management and business partnering. We seek a candidate to join the Treasury Operations team, responsible for managing LSEG's global banking infrastructure and liquidity structures, including: Bank account opening, closure and maintenance activities Bank signatory and mandate management KYC, AML and regulatory banking requirements Banking platform administration and governance Treasury projects and banking structure implementation Controls, reporting and process improvement Cash repatriation from global subsidiaries Supporting the Cash Management team Role Overview The Senior Associate, Treasury Operations, reports to the Treasury Operations Manager. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of 3 days per week of office-based working. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders including, Finance, Legal, Tax, Company Secretariat and Entity Controllers, as well as external banking partners. They will ensure that LSEG’s global banking infrastructure is managed effectively in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and that the Group’s liquidity is efficiently mobilised to support strategic priorities. They will also support the Cash Management team, who are responsible for ensuring that subsidiaries receive sufficient funding for business needs. Key Responsibilities of the Role Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of global bank accounts, including account openings, closures, maintenance activities and bank account rationalisation projects. Coordinate signatory changes across multiple banking partners and jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to internal governance and local regulatory requirements. Act as the central point of contact between LSEG business stakeholders and relationship banks for account administration activities. Support implementation of new banking structures, cash management solutions, virtual accounts, notional pooling arrangements and other Treasury initiatives. Coordinate KYC, AML and periodic bank reviews, ensuring timely completion of banking requirements. Support Treasury projects associated with acquisitions, divestments, legal entity restructures, market expansion initiatives and regulatory changes. Produce high-quality management reporting, status updates and presentations for key stakeholders. Maintain process documentation, operating procedures and control evidence to support internal and external audit requirements. Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, controls, reporting and automation across all Treasury Operations activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external banking partners to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Support the repatriation of cash from global subsidiaries including those subject to exchange controls and in jurisdictions with macroeconomic challenges. Provide backup to the Cash Management team to ensure subsidiaries are provided with sufficient liquidity to meet liabilities as they fall due. Key Behaviours & Skills Required to be Successful in the Role Experience in Treasury Operations, Bank Account Management, Cash Management, Banking Operations or a similar team in a financial institution, MNC or large conglomerate, with 5+ years of relevant experience preferred. Degree or equivalent experience, with progress towards or completion of a relevant professional qualification (AMCT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Demonstrated ownership, initiative and the ability to deliver outcomes with minimal supervision. Strong organisational, project coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across internal teams and banking partners. Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with experience producing management reporting and KPIs. Strong focus on governance, controls and continuous improvement, with knowledge of treasury systems and platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle, FIS Integrity) advantageous.
