QA Automation Engineer

Key
Responsibilities
Implement standards in test automation, code quality, and framework design Build and maintain reliable, scalable, and maintainable test suites Implement efficient locator strategies (CSS, XPath, Playwright locators, etc.) to improve stability Leverage AI/Agent-based automation approaches to enhance productivity and test coverage Drive adoption of modern automation tools (Playwright / Selenium) Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless execution Perform root cause analysis of test failures and reduce test flakiness Collaborate with developers, product teams, and DevOps for shift-left testing Required Skills &
Experience
4+ years of experience in Test Automation Strong expertise in Selenium and/or Playwright Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / Python Hands-on experience with locator strategies (dynamic elements, shadow DOM, iframes, etc.) Familiarity with AI Agents / intelligent automation tools for test generation or execution
Experience
using Visual Studio Code with Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools Solid understanding of web technologies (DOM, APIs, browser behavior)
Experience
with test frameworks, assertions, and reporting tools Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Good to Have
Experience
in API automation (REST/GraphQL) Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) Exposure to performance and security testing Understanding of cloud-based test execution and parallelization
