Position Summary • Responsible for the management processes of Inventory, Distribution, shipping and receiving at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Herrin Hospital, Saint Joseph Memorial Hospital, Harrisburg Medical Center and The Cancer Institute.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the consolidation and standardization of Supply Chain Management services across the system including development of SOPs, policies, and education. • Responsible for monitoring and providing adequate inventory levels (Par Level Management) • Manages the operations of multiple departments, inpatient and outpatient facilities for supplies and equipment provided by Central Supply. • Ensures supervisors and staff provide the highest quality of care in supply management and that all supply areas meet The Joint Commission, federal, state, and local recommended practices. • Designs and evaluates processes to improve supply distribution to ensure positive patient care results. • Determines the appropriate staff mix for departments and develops processes to screen, interview, hire, train and maintains the competency of all department staff. • Collaborates with Supply Chain Service Line Director in developing the level of patient services and day to day operations of the departments. • Responsible for EOC (Environment of Care) and Emergency Preparedness committees at each facility ensuring the appropriate staff are educated on any processes that need facilitated.
