Compensation Range: $23.51 - $35.05 Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Baton Rouge, LA Company: Munters Corporation Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with additional 24/7 on-call availability.

Position Overview/Summary: Responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment, and facilities throughout the plant. In addition, maintaining supplies and spare parts to properly support these requirements.
Essential Functions

Responsibilities
Learn the manufacturing process and its equipment to fully understand equipment functionality needs. Analyze, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical devices and systems to support manufacturing equipment needs in both a proactive and reactive function with the main objective of minimizing machine downtime. Maintain the inside and outside of facilities in a safe and efficient manner with a world class appearance. Perform preventive maintenance program tasks with production and engineering personnel. Participate in maintaining supplies and spare parts inventory to support the operational needs. Willing to serve on the Manufacturing team, the Safety Committee and/or be a designated contact person for security and fire alarm response, if needed. Maintains ISO-9001 standards Perform all duties in a safe manner; support all safety and environmental rules and environmental initiatives. Participate in Lean initiatives to provide ongoing continuous improvement ideas for products, process, and procedures Assist and train other employees when necessary Preferred

Experience
and
Qualifications
HS graduate or equivalent with 3 years maintenance experience in one or more of the following: electronics, electrical, refrigeration, PLC, hydraulics, pneumatics Must be willing to work long hours, overtime and weekends as required. On call 24/7 for emergencies Effective team player
Experience
or exposure to lean concepts Valid driver’s license Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time Ability to climb in overhead structures; work beneath machines and in close quarters to perform necessary work. Ability to obtain forklift (license) Ability to use various tools for the construction and adjustments of facility equipment. Physical Demands: Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer terminal, expansive reading, etc. The worker is occasionally exposed to adverse environment conditions May be required to work in confined spaces May be exposed to electricity or other power sources DOT Physical required
