Associate MAKO Product Specialist
Job description
Work Flexibility: Field-based Join a team that’s transforming joint replacement surgery with cutting‑edge robotic technology. In this role, you’ll help surgeons deliver greater precision and better patient outcomes while building deep expertise in one of the most advanced surgical platforms in the world. What you will do Deliver hands-on training and in-theater clinical support to surgeons and operating room teams to enable optimal use of Stryker’s robotic technologies. Prepare and analyze pre-operative CT scans using planning software to support implant selection, sizing, and positioning for successful surgical outcomes. Build and maintain expert-level knowledge of Mako systems and joint replacement portfolios to serve as a trusted clinical specialist. Generate accurate case reports, education summaries, and product insights to support continuous improvement and product performance. Manage consigned equipment and inventory, ensure readiness of instruments and disposables, and process sales orders to support territory operations. Support workshops, roadshows, and on-site demonstrations that increase awareness and adoption of robotic solutions. Train physicians, hospital staff, and internal team members on system operation, product use, and best practices to elevate clinical proficiency. Complete timely complaint reporting to maintain compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. What you need Required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
Experience
in healthcare, medical devices, clinical support, or a related technical field. Ability to work in operating theater environments. Ability to complete the Mako certification program within the probationary period. Proficiency in Cantonese and English
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience supporting surgeons, clinicians, or hospital staff in a technical or clinical capacity.
Experience
handling medical equipment, imaging data, or surgical technologies. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
