We are looking for a partner for the position of Switchgear Protection and Control Specialist to join our ABB team in Brno, which is a global leader in the production of LV and MV switchgear. The main task of this position is to configure control and protection terminals in MV switchgear and test their correct functionality. 🛠 What will you do? After joining, you will learn how the department and production of HV switchgear work. Under the guidance of an experienced colleague, you will learn everything you need - we have a training plan ready to guide you through your beginnings. Configure protective terminals of HV switchgear. Test the functionality and control functions of HV switchgear. Collaborate with other team members (project managers, designers, designers, production). If you are interested, you can professionally train our customers. You will deepen your expertise and develop further. 🏢 What do we require? Secondary school/university education in electrical engineering. English, which you can use in e-mail, at meetings and during video calls. Knowledge of working on a PC (MS Office, Windows, Excel). Basic knowledge of PLC programming is an advantage, but not a requirement - we will teach you more. Independence, desire to work and apply your knowledge and skills in practice.
