About the Job As Road Director Benelux, you will be responsible for defining and executing the Road Freight strategy across the Benelux; This is a unique opportunity to rebuild and reshape the entire Road organization in the Benelux from the ground up, giving you the chance to make a lasting impact on the future of our business; You take ownership of the Road business performance, including budget management, P&L responsibility, and achieving ambitious growth targets; You translate the global and regional Road strategy into local initiatives, projects, and business plans that strengthen our market position and operational performance; You foster strong relationships with customers, carriers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to drive innovation and business development; You provide strategic direction on commercial and operational matters while ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and industry regulations; You oversee the Road pricing and tender strategy, ensuring sustainable growth, healthy margins, and successful execution throughout the organization; You act as an ambassador for Hellmann Worldwide Logistics by representing the Road product at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences across the Benelux. About You You have extensive experience within Road Freight Forwarding and Transport Logistics, in a senior leadership role; You have a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of growing and developing logistics businesses; You are energized by transformation and have experience building, restructuring, or scaling organizations; You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality and know how to turn vision into execution; You are an inspiring people leader who enjoys coaching teams and developing future talent; You possess strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills and are able to build long-term partnerships; You are entrepreneurial, ambitious, and comfortable taking ownership of complex business challenges You are fluent in Dutch and English.
