As a student of the Supplier Quality Engineering team, you will be an active contributor to reducing supplier-related production disruptions and advancing our digital transformation by integrating key quality systems with our supplier communication platforms. Job Description What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities) Support shop floor operations by identifying and resolving quality issues to ensure seamless production flow. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on non-conforming parts to prevent recurrence and improve overall product quality. Lead a technical project to integrate internal quality management systems with our supplier communication center. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and manufacturing, to drive process improvements. Assist in monitoring and reporting on supplier quality metrics to identify trends and areas for development. Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in coordination with suppliers. Document technical findings and process updates to maintain compliance with quality standards. Analyze data from quality systems to generate actionable insights for internal stakeholders. What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering). Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis and troubleshoot complex technical problems through academic projects or prior relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to track data and create presentations. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with cross-functional partners. Eligibility Requirements Must be able to work on-site at the facility full-time to support shop floor operations; this role does not involve travel. Must be willing and able to work in a manufacturing shop floor environment, including exposure to noise and industrial equipment. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
